The Sedan Chair Charities Fund Committee aims to keep overheads low to ensure donations going to those that need them.

We comprise a committe who serves without pay, two full-time staff and one part-time employee.  Matilda International Hospital provides office space while administration costs are underwritten by Event Co-Sponsors. Therefore all proceeds raised from the Sedan Chair Race, the Matilda Bazaar and donations will be made to worthwhile, needy, registered charities in Hong Kong. Beneficiaries are selected by the committee on an annual basis.
